Some say the world is falling apart
Some wayward form of sick humor tightens its grasp
A fury sweeping across the land
You were the necklace without a clasp
Humbled by your sadness
With a violent sensation of blood lust
Some would say the sky is burning
And turning my world into nothing but dust
Some festering thought beckoning at the center of my head
Things seem to grind together and it's pure glee
Some see the man they won't remember
And that forgotten man is me
Some would say he's in over his head
Some would notice he wasn't even in very deep
I hope you are happy
Flustered and absolutely euphoric indeed
I want things to work out in the most wonderful ways
I'm praying for the Earth to keep you safe
I want to go down with the ship, down and down
I want to remember my mistake
