You say you love me and would,
Give anything to make me happy,
Even though u have caused me so,
Much pain in the past year,
You say that your sorry for,
How you have treated me but u continue,
To abuse me cause you say,
"I'm a man and I'll do what I want",
Just to make me feel scared,
You claim that u want to leave,
Although u come running back still,
Killing my pride because you have,
No self respect for yourself,
Cause if you were a real man and u,
Loved me like u say you do,
I would not be hurting,
Constantly,
So every night I get on my,
Knees and pray that god,
Will make things better,
Because I feel that I need,
To be loved by a man without,
Having to fight battles

| well if he's really like this my advice(mind this is a twelve year old speaking)is dump him he doesn't love you you've gave him way to many chances he's just playing and manipulating . Leave him and find your true man he'll be out there somewhere. He thinks he's a big man but not a true man would take your feelings into acount. |

Heartbreaking write. Sweety Im not sure how old you are but I'll give you some advice here as I lived it. I stayed for 14 years and he never changed things only got worse. I suffered a great deal of all sorts of abuse hoping that one day he would change. I have damage done to my back now that wont go away because of his lack of love or his sick sense of what love was because he was a man and said he could. NO MAN does these things to cause any hurt and pain. Move on before you feel yourself trapped with noway out. Life and love are not these things you are speaking of here.

| As laepords don't change their spots, an abuser will never stop the abuse. No woman or man, yes there are men who suffer this too, should be put through this mental and physical abuse. Good write, but makes you think. Sue x |
