my pet's now dead

Contributed by jono on Saturday, 22nd July 2006 @ 03:31:33 AM in AEST
Topic: ChildrensPoetry

on that one day
I was felling top
I saw my new school
and thought it was boss

until we got
a call from the vet
that she had got cancer
and she was my pet

I couldn't handle
tara's death
my life has been changed
from that call from the vet

they put her down
and buried her
and to top it all off
I don't know where

I truly really
loved that dog
and to just let her die
I felt like the worst hog

I'll never, never
see her again
but I'll never forget
the great days when

She'd bark and pant
and show me love
but now she's
life's become so tough

Bless you... to say you're only twelve, you've got the beginnings of quite a talent, keep it up, and I'm eighteen and still haven't got over the loss of my dog (also to cancer)

How sad for your loss. The write tells of your feelings and how greatly you still miss that little dog.
