oops
|
in this place of pain,
I long to escape.
A sweet memory of joy,
taken so tragically from me.
Hate lingers in this fuzzy place,
a misunderstanding between God and I.
no exit door though so I endure,
sleep brings those dreams,
wake and drift off again to the same place.
A prisoner ever since the ones that I loved,
were swept out to sea.
I have no boat, and I can't swim to that place,
incessantly staring at the ocean,
searching the horizon and looking for a note in an old bottle.
nothing ever comes with the waves but those memories.
they sting my eyes
and penetrate my soul.
suffering to find the answer and screaming 5 names!
