Don't let go

Topic: LovePoetry

Oh sweet night
Take subtle aromas fill my head
Make me dosy
And I fall down on the seat

Next to you
We slump on the balcony
And the crickets play
Us a special sonata

I turn my head so slowly
Savouring the anticipation
Knowing the moment will
Be so amazing

But I cannot wait anymore
And I turn my gaze into yours
I stare into your deep, dark eyes
And I die a little death

As I know I could never see anything
So wonderful again
So romantic and lyrical
Your eyes seem to sing to me

Tears form on mine
As I realise just how much I could
Never let you go
And my heart begins to melt

You touch my arm
And it sets on fire
A passion so powerful
Burning for you

I reach my palm and
Stroke your soft face
Your skin like a summer
Cotton shirt

Why can't we stay
In this moment
As time stretches past
And fails to take hold?

Why can't it last
Forever?
Like I know
You will

This was another beautiful and brillant poem.. I like how you write your poems and how they have a lot of love and true meaning in them.. It makes me think about the love of my life and how he is so important to me.. This was a really great poem..

Take care
