Are you chasing or being chased?

Contributed by spencer on Wednesday, 19th July 2006 @ 03:23:35 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

I'm running as fast as I can
Never gonna give up the chase
I've ran for twenty years I won't
Stop running until I am caught

I'm being chased but I don't care
I only wish I had someone to run with me
Were all being chased by or chasing the same thing
It depends how you look at it to weather your
Chasing or being chased.

Time is chasing me, I used to chase time before
I realised how precious it was then it started
Chasing me. We try to kill time
But time always ends up killing us.

Time and life go hand in hand one can't
Exist without the other. Time may be chasing me
But I chase life, I embrace life, I am life, we all are.

I'm glad I am being chased one day time
Will catch me but not any time soon. Time, a certainty
Of an end is what makes chasing life
Worth doing.

Like the way you were able to make me feel anxious whilst readin this. Don't know if that was ur intentions but it worked. Felt like I was runnin with you. It's good the way u embrace life too cos u have to live for the now and not what could happen. Really good

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
