Twisted emotions
Lost in a daze
Traversing quietly
Life’s endless maze
Broken promises
Torn pages of time
Scents of lavender
Flavor of lime
Scorched romances
Friendships gone
Through it all
We simply move on
Memories shift
Back to the days
Of lost innocence
Adrift in a haze
Circle of life
No beginning or end
Always and forever
Into us does blend

Leaning on the challenges but tempered with scents and flavors delicious, you have, with the ally of brevity displayed the "always and forever" of the "circle of life".
A poem to ponder and excite the reader's memories by recall and comparisons. Aimed at the heart with a bullseye shot. Nice work! |
