The Death Of The Pain

Contributed by lilbabe on Tuesday, 18th July 2006 @ 03:20:11 PM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

I would rather feel nothing
Than this pain I endure
The torture of my soul
The destruction of a heart so pure

So I hold the glistening metal
To drain it all away
I barely feel...just slight relief
My spirit has decayed

Don't fear for me
Don't lose sleep
And at my funeral,
I beg you not to weep

The pain is gone
I cannot feel
Six feet under
Cause the hurting was so real

Remember me
But do not cry
Life wasn't worth living
Thus, I shall die

When I read this poem I sensed that u are really hurting on the inside and if u believe in god he tells us that he won't put more on us than we can bare. So when u are hurt or feeling down just pray because god always makes a way. This poem was very deep and the emotion of this poem makes u hooked 2 it. Keep up the good work. Very well written.-luckycharm
