Help Me Up?

On this journey I am trudging on,
Lord, take my hand and guide me every day
It’s not in my plan to go astray…

I thank God for the church family,
We are expected to pray for one another?
Not to push down one’s sister or brother…

Suppose I do fall,
And cannot get a prayer through
Can you pray for me as I have done for you?

I know the Lord is my true helper,
But, sometimes I may make a mistake
Are you willing to go the extra mile that it may take?

Help me up,
I know that you‘re running your race
And we all are living off God’s grace…

But, can you take a moment to help me up?
I know you love me and I love you too,
However, your extra prayer just may help me through!

In fact, we’ll be blessing each other
I do not desire to trouble you
But, if you’ll help me and I help you???


Wait, isn’t that what we are suppose to do?

beautiful poem Andrea, there should be more love like this in our troubled world. If we all felt this way, there wouldn't be so much pain in the world.......Mike
