Inner Demon Battlefront.

Contributed by Vampire_Slander on Monday, 17th July 2006 @ 10:31:18 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Illusions of victory, lost within translation
The bitter sweet howl of thunder, so haunting
May the rain wash the sorrows of life away?
Each hour deeming an awakening

We are the soldiers, sleepless ones
Dawn the ember in the sky beckons
The trumpets, singing the song of leeches
Chaos, destruction, an armada of consumption

In the wake of this haze a demon feeds
Let loose the lightning, from the almighty smelter
My this fixation to the black last
Lessons learned in dark alchemy

Bramble clouds, ash in the sky
This forest utopia is in cinders
Hate, a grudge against a god like foe
A tyrant which has no soul

A cry of a sparrow
A signal of disasters to come
The fearless statues of humanity will not buckle
Take up arms against the ravager of worlds

Existence the flawed word of humanity
A lost cause among many wrong doings
The pendulum stops on this midnight hour
An echo all that remains of time.
