Echo’s in time on a breeze from the past.
Pain and the heartaches forever will last.
Loves covenant made but then it was broken.
A long embrace and a kiss, just a token.
The hopes and the dreams fade out of sight.
Bitter rain falls all through the night.
The fabric of a heart can never be mended.
Tears of the soul forever descended.
Each day that unfolds, just lost in a crowd.
The sun hides his face behind the dark cloud.
The story is cruel but yet ever true.
A fragment in time and hidden from view.
The winds of time have cast their fate.
Old age arrives, it would not wait.
There alone, no one to care.
Still holding on to love not there.
