manic depression or past regreession?

Topic: oops

Cut these demons from inside me
break these chains
set me free
clear my darkest memories, full of static
put them in a box
keep them in the attic
never let them see the light of day
make me happy
feel okay
but these things they love to haunt
they love to scare
watch them taunt
so am i destined to hate?
and like a balloon i deflate
ups and downs like the sea
open doors, wipe your feet
