Unlocking my heart

Scrutinize me
as I wane away
my mind scatters away
cutting the people held dear,
but to me?

Listening to the echoes
the echoes of truth
stabbing my heart.
Holding me down
with a knife to my neck.

Unlocking my heart
Not spreading raw love
Now infesting blackened chaos
Morning dawns a ravaged palace
now the people’s tears scar my memory.
