Do you ever need someone to hold
you.
To let you know that you exist.
Or do you cut into your own flesh
simply to know that you are here,and
you are a living loving being
whose blood flows out of
your many wounds and
then hopes that someone
will care enough help you
heal completely and not
just put a band aid in place
and then walk away.
I have felt such sadness
that I could not seem to cry hard
enough.
Only to hear that I will live through it.

this poem reminds me of someone i used to be. i know someone who will help you heal completely and will NEVER walk away, even though you have so many times.
i am unworthy but i have been healed.
