Ignite the flame,
scorching
Through my thoughts, slick with sweat,
cascading
Down from generous pores into white-hot
pain
That is exquisite because we’re both so
vulnerable
To the affects of this sensation, breathing
interrupted
By meaningless secrets, shared by unexpected
contact
Of the mental nature, we’re so beyond the
physical.
Turn up the music
pulsing
Through our arteries, hearts exploding with the
dance
That is wanton, needing something to insulate the
energy
That craves only you, knowing the
tingling
At my fingertips is just a reminder, it’s not
over
The night has only began, splash it with my
colors
Break away from the crowd,
grinding.
With the moon; this is taking a turn for the
better
When torn jeans are replaced with something more
flexible,
And revealing, but you’ll never see inside my soul where
truths
Are hidden, until I’ve got your heart in my hands and your
promise.
If I begin to wilt,
Burn the lilies,
Leave the ashes on my bed…
Bleed the roses –
And go paint the town red.

I love the ending of this. Those last 5 lines are just awesome, and in my opinion they make the poem.
I love how this kept me guessing all the way through, and is still keeping me guessing now.
