My Ghosts

I look upon the stars tonight,
They appeared pale, gripped by fright,
Gripped by envy, twisted and turned,
Ripped and creatored, shattered and torn,
I gaze upon violent storms,
That wander near but fade too soon,
I hear the carnage I see the blood,
I've angered the gods the rivers flood,
I stare upon darkening clouds,
That gather in the corners of my crumbling mind,
They stain and they grow, Like a stone they roll,
Over my dreams, my hopes,
They are my ghosts.

nice poem.
I am not sure, but in line 4, did you mean to write "cratered" as in a hole? |
