Disguising the Hate

Contributed by flamingblade on Saturday, 15th July 2006 @ 04:49:22 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Scars never to be revealed
Pain for so long concealed
Hating the world and all things in it.
Especially the memories she so often revisits.
Her feelings she holds inside
As she bares bruises she tries to hide.
So long ago, she lost all hope
Even as she struggled to cope.
Her nerves are badly frayed
And she lives by the saying:
"Some bruises don't heal and scars never fade."

Oh that is so sad. It's sad to think someone, possibly, is out there feeling like that. I wish I could just hug them all...

I really love this poem, it makes me sad, but I'm sure that's what you were looking for. It's good that this provokes emotions, it means it was well written in which it was.

I still can't stop thinking about the girl in your poem. I wish people wouldn't disguise hate, because there's people out there willing to help.

I really live this poem. It was a very good write.
