Lord, Father, dad.
I had a rough day,
But you got me through.

I threw a fit,
Like I always do,

But you took ahold of my hand,
You walked me through.

I tried to find joy in so many earthly ways,
Got frustrated because.

Then I realized something Lord, Father, Dad,
It has to come from you.

If I talk about you,
Share things about you,
Sing about you to,
If I write poetry,
Talk to you,
Then I am happy. filled with joy from you...

I found my place today,
Sitting at your feet,
Where I found my life,
That is complete.

I know things happen for a reason. It's not surprise that I am here reading more things about the Lord, given my recent struggles. Thanks for submitting this and your previous poem and showing me, like so many other things have shown me, the path I need to take.
