Buried in the undercurrent
of cold caustic trances
Beside her tomb , I stand
devout
Fallen snow and my feet are
tired of these roads
Fallen snow - my head is
hollowed out
Washed in her shadow the
green walls decay
Washed in the light of cold
silent day
I've set fire to the faded kitchen
curtains
I've set fire to your ever pulling
shadows...
distant now I lay
silent in the blue sleeted fields
silent...frozen by god

The title actually caught my eye, And im glad it did. This is a wonderful poem of lingering emotions. You have a unique style in your writings. Great read. Take care, Kimberly |
