Where Is My Sun?

All smiles til' my sun goes away.
Once again I feel alone.
Im not here and I say..
Where's my sun?
Thinking and wishing my sun would come my way.
Thinking til' I feel my mind and my soul drift away.
Left alone
Growing old
Feeling only pain
Where's my sun?
Where's my love?
Deep beyond the grave.

This is almost like the opposite to You are my sunshine, that tune from the 30's (And Oh Brother Where Art Thou!) Really poignant and sad, yet perfectly concise. |
