The Clearance

Topic: InspirationalPoems

Take my sad emotion,
My feelings , and my pride,
My anger , hate , and misery,
And the tears that I have cried,

Make a box of sturdy wood,
And then place these things within,
Tape it up very tight,
Then throw it in a bin,

Take my happiness and glee,
My warmth, my smiling face,
My hopes , my wishes, and my dreams ,
My goodness and my grace,

Place them in my little home,
For all the world to hold,
For this is where they belong,
Or so I have been told,

Throw out misery, retain the good,
But remember when things are bad,
You threw the sadness in the bin,
Thats why you should be glad.

Oh gosh, sue .. if only, eh?

Words to live by, for sure! I wish we really could lock
up those sad and tortured emotions ..
but then .. if we never felt bad, how could we possibly
recognize good, right?

Intriguing and beguiling write!!

~Breezy

A very nice poem, Sue. I like the way you got rid of all the bad emotions and locked them away.

Thank you,

Tim
(who wishes he could really do that)

Sue~
My dear friend I wished I could do that. It would make life so much easier. If we don't feel the pain we wont appreciate what is good in our lives. Do you know what I enjoy so much about ur writes. They are always from ur beautiful loving heart. You're a true inspiration and a spirit lifter. I wish onto you what you so willingly give to others my dear friend. Love, joy and happiness always.
God bless u dearest Sue~ You're a true gem.
love, hugs n prayers,
sue m
