Hit The Hex

Hit the Hex on Monday,
Making monstrous shapes,
It was great,
Stomping with my mates,
There's no wait,
No need to denigrate,
Drinking up till late, that's our fate,
In a state, on a plate.
Songs I used to hate, so irate,
Have a way of making dates.

Loving life, it's better, then before,
No longer dreading what's in store.
I wrote in that letter, about the whore,
Now my heart is never aching anymore.
Found a brand new lover, opens doors,
Oh my heart, never seen the light of day before.
No longer undercover, feeling raw, heart's not poor,
Just dripping passion and profusion as a law.

Luckily for me, I stumbled upon a girl who is deeper, funnier, better looking and more enriched than than the girl I wasted 7 years with. If there's hope for lil ole me, there's hope for everyone!! Thanks for readiing it though-it's probably one of my worst poems ever but I was trying to waste time instead of hanging up my washing and making my friend a birthday card! x

Don't know u but it's always good to hear(or read)that someone is moving on with their life. You've only got the one so why not be happy when you can. Hope you put the washing out too
