HIS FEET

Contributed by Adelle on Wednesday, 12th July 2006 @ 01:11:09 AM in AEST
Topic: spiritual

They walked upon the ground
covered in dirt and sand
crossing the dessert lands
preaching to the souls of man
walking near and far across the nation
in unprotected foot wear upon his feet
taking him anywhere he needed to be
enduring the miles
enduring standing thru long hours
enduring the heat and rain
enduring thorns and rocks of pain
holding him up till the end
enduring him through heavy burden
never to colapse never to crack
still holding him up after striped upon his back
carrying him on, even after spit upon, and stoned
another step, another time another step of faith shown
even enduring nails hammered through them
the blood, the wounds
the pressure and agony they went through
all for his purpous to do
his miracles for me and you
his feet, a miracle
a divine creation of charater and soul
the same steps were to take and follow
where he did go-
my feet are created in his likeness
to teach me to walk in his same ways
to follow his steps to the cross
to walk upon my feet to where he was
and let his blood and tears take my sins away
defining my feet in his likeness by my faith-
