I am a Poet,
I write what my heart tells me to,
I put pen to paper
And create magic.
I am Sad,
Because I am lost,
Because I am confused,
I don't know what to do.
I just don't know....
I am a Man,
Just a simple man,
A man who tries to live,
A man who tries to love,
But can't seem to find his way.
I am an Alcoholic,
Of this I am not proud,
This addiction has a hold on me.
I wish I could kick it,
But I just can't quit.
I am......
I am so lost,
I am so confused,
I am just a simple man.
I am who I am.
Take me or leave me,
This is me.
I am in love.....

Eddie, nicely done. Just know that you are not the only person out there suffering from this same addiction. But, with help you can over come this if you are only willing. Know this, No one can make you stop drinking only you can. Best wishes to you guy.

| Sadness can make people turn to drink I know someone who drinks for that reason, in the long run drink makes you feel worse.its a vicious circle, hope you can get help your on the right path because you know what your doing xxxxx |

| Im sorry to know that EddieDean. I've been there once in my life, and it wasn't a pretty site to let the sadness overwhelm me. | A very nice write man. I think you are too hard on yourself though. I don't see you as a simple man, but as a man with many things to give. Keep fighting the drinking, it's hard, but I know you of all people have the power to win. |
