One lost flower

Contributed by aliengirl on Monday, 10th July 2006 @ 10:23:36 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

In her Rose's chest
she hides her lost inocence
The blood-liped girl
and jasmin skin
With the softest stare
i've ever seen

She reclines her head
on a white crown
a fog-filled melody
follows
and a black parade
sorrows

They speak of their loss.
the girl blessed by pain
says they
she died of wrath
that she gave up on love
at last.

They remember her pallid grin
and they pray
That instead of the pyre
her soul is ceased to Him

They give her back
to the dust
the last of their hopes
crushed by her grave
convinced she's too late to save

Though it started all with a knife,
though they thought
her eyes were shut
to a forever night
their foolish hearts
abstein their ignorance
and wont see
that in her breath,

There's still life...

He dicho!

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
