Peaceful Request

Contributed by lovespoetic0518 on Monday, 10th July 2006 @ 03:49:27 PM in AEST
Topic: DreamsandWishes

I spend the countless days,
Calming my soul with a sigh of smoke.
I used to know my way,
This tempered mind, so easy to provoke.
Tired now, endless qualms run in circles
Serenity surfaces only in moments.
Following life in a timeless charade,
I need a sign, to help the misfortune fade.
Indebted nevertheless of what's genuine to me,
It's just hard to breathe sometimes,
Thinking about past scenes.
My direction in the wind,
Drifts through the acceptance
Of what will transpire,
Looking forward to the fragrance,
Of peaceful desire.

"Looking forward to the fragrance,

That was amazingly beautiful and touched me deeply.
A brave and conscious thought you have shared.
In all the melancholy that surrounds certain lines, I
see hope within this. And it's beautiful.

Wonderful post!
