My heart is broke, my mind in turmoil
a love once shared now a total loss
I can never retrieve the moments shared
their now embedded in place
nothing more than a memory
soon to be erased
Im suffocating with pain
breathless and now alone
where do I lay this love
now i've no one to call my own
What do I do with these feelings
the ones that you gave to me
the ones that were ours
are now wilted flowers
and I thought we were meant to be
Yes what do I do with these feelings
the ones that my heart know so well
that place that we once called heaven
since you've gone I now, call it hell

| Very soft spoken, and in depth poem. We've all had that kind of love at some point in our lives, that is lost somehow. It's good to for you to get it out and down on paper, it helps release the pain. nice write! Take care, Kimberly |
