A Night out with the Girls

Well last night was a night just for us girls,
The four of us said we would have a whirl,
Well two backed out ,which happens its true,
So Donna that just left me and you,
We went to a pizza place for something to eat,
But pasta we had , no stodge did we eat,
Then off to chicago, we took a trip,
Got to use our feet , yes dance a bit,
Well the place was quiet , not at its best,
And until eleven, was like the Marie Celeste,
The idiots were there , and the wierdos too,
Didn't we have a good time , watching you,
Then two men approached , and the mood it softened,
They used the old phrase, Do you come here often?
I want a real man I thought, So told him not to bother,
Well the truth was, I was old enough to be his mother,
Well I must admit , it made me feel great,
My life is not over, it isn't too late,
It did a lot for my confidence too,
Can't be that ugly, that is true,
Well dance we did, but then something went awry,
A drunken woman , she's another story,
Thought every woman was after her bloke,
She was aggressive, it was no joke,
So then we decided to make our way home,
Back to the weighbridge we did roam,
James, Donnas boyfriend, took us both home,
So here I am again on me own,
But next Friday I am out once again,
A hen party and just us ladies again,
We will behave, who am I kidding,
But life is for living, and yes we are women.

I'll go............Yes, for only girls.! I remember MY 21st, 5 yrs ago...........MAN o man..........Just 9 girls, and a limo driver..........Well.....we made it home at 4 am.! Well cute lil write.!

What a smile this gave me! A night out with 'the girls' is important for sure, and such fun too!! I have to admit; reading this has me kinda anxious for the weekend to come again! lol. Thanks for the smile : )
