Forbidden Love

Topic: LovePoetry

Such beauty can’t be real,
I tell myself, though it’s not what I feel,
Love? Is it true?
Just all feels so right when with you.
We laugh, smile and joke around,
Yet both see how this is going down.
Look into each other’s eyes.
So deep, completely hypnotised.
Fighting an urge we both feel,
Makes me feel sick or even ill.
Why should I deny something like this?
It will only be a simple kiss.
Even though that’s not how it works,
Before you know there’s fireworks.
Why is this happening to us right now?
It’s the world being cruel some how?
Knowing we have to part.
The aching, the pain within my heart.
It’s not the end for us I know,
Watch us flower, watch us grow.
I don’t regret or take back this,
Hell I’d do anything for one more kiss.
I live my life with a happy smile,
Even knowing it maybe for a while.
This is how love likes to play,
Pure beauty in every way.
So now I’ll shall enjoy the ride,
From love I will not hide.
This is how it’s meant to be,
Love is just you and me.

Nice flow of conscious thought and unbridled emotion here...If it's legit, your love will endure just about anything...Hope it works out for ya!

Truly a wise and deeply emotional statement
in the name of something that seems 2 control us even when were in control. well done and nicely presented.
