You can't count on anyone but me,
It is a reality,
You have to put your trust in me,
To be able to live,
Don't you look at the ones around you,
They will always let you down,
But you can come to me my child,
I am always around.
Do you let your heart be stomped on,
Do you cry the tear,
Do you hold on what is tomorrow,
Look at me my dear.
I am Here to hold your hand,
I am the one that you can talk to,
I am the one that is here,
Please understand.
Don't put your trust in another,
Keep your eyes upon me,
I am the one can love you,
I am the one to set you free.
Don't be saddened about your life,
Give it to me to have and to hold,
Let me take care of it my child,
I will never let you be alone.
I will walk with you through the tomorrows,
I will walk with you today,
Just put your hand in mine my child,
And walk this way.
Never get your eyes on your troubles,
They will always let you down,
Keep your eyes upon me my child,
Hear what I have to say,
Keep your eyes upon me my child,
I will always make a way.
I saw you cry the tear,
You felt no one cares,
I saw the anger deep inside,
But I am here to walk by your side.
