Afraid of the Night

The sun is sinking,Slowly over the hill
And it spreads its Beauty,Across the fields

It takes away the day,And my joy of light
And covers my life,With the lonely night

When darkness sets in,And I have nothing to do
I cant help it,My thoughts turn to You

The darkness brings memories,Of what used to be
When we shared the nights,Just you and me

We had a love,Every night that love grew
I was so sure of myself,I never knew

That the end would come,And you'd be gone
And I would be here,In the night all alone

Finding love brings happiness,It makes your heart lite
Losing love can make you,Afraid of the night.
