No birthday here to celebrate,
For the man he is not there,
Just us two me and you,
And Grahams vacant chair,
We have no presents wrapped,
Just flowers on a grave to share,
To show we miss and love you still,
And that we really care,
No birthday meal for us to have,
No loving birthday kiss,
No hugs to share with you today,
These things are what we miss,
No chocolates and no birthday cake,
No glass of wine or two,
No reason now to celebrate,
No point we don't have you,
But we have you still in our mind,
And though we are apart,
Our love for you will still go on,
You live inside our hearts,
So kisses on the wind we send,
And flowers on your grave we lay,
We never will forget you ,
With love on your birthday.

I'm so sorry for your loss dearest Sue~ He lives on inside ur heart with the cherished memories you have of him. He is always near u my dear friend. I can so much understand the pain u are in.

This is beautiful and a wonderful dedication, Sue.
Sometimes celebrating the memories is a good thing too and you have celebrated in his memory in a wonderful way with this poem.

| So sorry Sue it is really painful when the person you loved so much birthday comes round, the grief you feel is even harder on that day...I am sure that he is still with you watching over you and your daughter.. What ever any one says does not make it better, but think it helps to know you are in there thoughts at this time... xxxxxx |
