I am the feeling you get when you're done
Satisfied yet unrealized potential setting with the sun
I am the growing aching not bent on breaking always sinking thought you're in
I would be showing but instead I'm never knowing how it feels to touch your skin
I am the dust on the blinds at some sale with lots of finds you take right home
I am the lonely perspective who's pretty selective when it comes to being alone
I am the secluded jumper, the sticker on a torn up bumper that makes you laugh in traffic
I am the equation that self-inflicted abrasion and now you wish you had it
I am liquored up, staring at the bottom of my cup as it turns from wet to dry
I am this empty feeling when inside my self I'm dealing with things that make me wonder why
I am the heart on a sleeve and the events that make us grieve, no wonder you ran away
I could never forget you altogether even if I can't even get a chance to face another day
