Junk Mail

Contributed by wrybod on Sunday, 9th February 2003 @ 04:40:00 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

Every ruddy morning
it cascades through the door
tons and tons of Junk Mail
lying on the floor
with the same old message
"Borrow, borrow, borrow"
"Have it all today pal!"
like there's no tomorrow..

This is what we're gonna do
get the neighbours round
everyone bring their junk mail
pile it in a mound
on the kichen table
each one draws a hand
open up the envelopes
now see how it's planned

Keep the pre-paid envelope
pass the junk around
each one to his left then
mischief we'll compound
put the junk from firm A
in the envelope from B
pop it in the post box
hug yourselves with glee

Kegs04 glad you enjoyed it. It's lost some of it's venom cos mick has censored the word
s**t. I suppose not to offend peoples sensitivity.
I try to cheer things up a bit so many poems are heartbreaking.

Ladydama, I'm so glad it cheered you up.
About 75% of what I write tries to do that.
Try the Husbands 1-7 and Wives 1-7 i've had some nice responses on them

Poetic replies are the best

K' We don't get so many calls now trying to sell on the phone I think it doesn't pay anymore) I used to cut through their carefully prepared speach just saying over and over "we don't buy over the phone"
