The sands of time weaving around my tortured heart
Forward and wayward I go yet always in the dark
No sooner do I find love than does it part
Is my life a journey, or someone’s cruel lark
Sadness is my life, cold and cruel and dark
Always I search for loves true spark
Someone o someone help me out of the dark
