The best night of my life was the 4th of July,
Because it was unexpected
And worked out fine.
It was so fast and such a bumpy ride, but I don’t care
It was the best night of my life!!
Being with you under the stars
Feeling like the world is ours…
Watching the fireworks
And setting off our own
Doing stupid things
With all the friends we know!
I can’t believe it was so wonderful!!
For once in my life…
I remembered who you are
And how we used to have contests
Against each other.
On the swing…I feel like I can fly
Then jumping off straight into your arms…
Then being able to be with you that night…
Feeling like everything is right…
I was just the best night of my life!!!
For once I feel like I have something better,
Being able to be with you
Under the covers…
Holding on so tight…
It was just the best night of my life!
It was only one day out of so many,
But I don’t care…
It was the…

Congrats. The juxtaposition of the fireworks, always a powerful symbol of sexual union, with the real thing was smoothly and energetically expressed. Lucky bugger.
