PRAYERS FOR NAZZY
A dear friend poet, and friend Nazzy
needs our prayers
Prayers are powerful, prayers help
Nazzy to know all cares.
I'm trying to find out more information
about his condition,
I'm not even sure if it was an accident
or what will threaten.
I just received word that he was hurt
Please leave a comment to encourage
and comfort.
I'll keep everyone posted when I find
out all the details.....

The latest on Nazzy:
He fell while mowing his lawn and the lawnmower went over him.
He had surgery this morning has lost 1/2 of his foot.
He will have to go back to surgery again tomorrow.
He is in so much pain they are giving him
pain killers, and he is pretty much out of it now.
I will keep adding to this when I know anything
different.
I just received this news from Phil
She spoke to Nazzy on the phone:
She says
"I spoke to him on the phone!!!
He seems in good spirits. He is doing well!"

Hey ConSue...
I'm praying for him too.
I spokle to Shannon... it appears that he fell, and the lawnmower mangled his foot... It was an accident, and he's had some of his foot amputated...

Mom what we do here without you.
I truly appreciate this and all the emails on his condition.
Nazzy, our global family here doing what it's done for me many time and that is to hold you up in prayer.
I know that if it weren't for Jesus name and prayer, plus a strong will, I wouldn't be alive today.

Yes, it was a lawnmower accident. He stumbled backwards and ended up pulling the mower over his left foot. He severed the big toe and the second toe and there is a deep laceration at the top of his foot. During the first surgery they completed the amputation of the two toes, however there was not enough skin to suture the wound on the top of his foot. Currently that is one of the big concerns that could cause them to remove more of the foot. He is in pretty good spirits all things considered. We are in for a long stuggle with physical therapy and rehabilitation as he will need to learn to walk again without the toes he lost. Scotty is strong and determined and I have faith that he will accomplish this in a speedy manner.
I read the post and all the comments to Scott last night on the phone. All the prayer and caring that has been expressed here moved him to tears.
We want to thank each and every one of you. Your love and support mean the world to us.

WEll just re-read and found out it was the lawn mower incident. Is relieved, it wasnt worse.! I know that is NOT good either, yet we ALL have him in our prayers.!
Tell him to stop looking for bugs, in the grass again, and maybe he wouldnt hurt himself as bad.!lol. Trying to give a brighter side.! Anyways, all take care, and know he will make it through all.!

fighting with a lawn mower is not a good idea, but i certainly hope he is alright.

Oh my God Nazzy,
We just got back from vacation today;; and I just turned the computor on and read you were seriously injured. I'm so shocked and feel so badly that this unfortunante accident has happened to you. Nazzy you are in my prayers my friend. I love you, and will pray for your speedy recovery. If there is anything at all that I can do, please let me know.

Like Terry (Willofree), I was on vacation this last week and therefore not reading poem posts as actively as usual. Your recent posts, ConSue, have obviously deeply touched many of the members here who think highly of Nazzy and wish, always, for his well being - myself included among the many. You're very sweet to pen these prayer requests/updates, hon - and I'm certain they are appreciated more than I could know.
I have and will continue to pray for Scott's recovery, hoping that he allows himself all the time he needs to heal.
Wishing wishes for wellness and wonder and words,
(thinking these potentially interupted by the accident, but undoubtedly of great importance to a poet like he),
