I still find myself taking it
I’m weak in your presence
I still allow you to break me down
I still fall…
I see the way you worship him
And give him all he wants
I know how you think he is flawless
Even though he still makes you sad…
How he treats you bad…
When he makes you mad…
And you run to him
Even though he did it again
Like I told you that he would
And you knew he would
Because he has before
It’s always the same
You think it would change?
Just because you want him to have?
But you run to him
Every time he calls
To be right by his side
To go be with his family
Laughing
Loving
Having fun
Until he makes you mad
And you get angry
You hate what he tells you
How he thinks that you should be
Yet you still run to him
And you leave me in the dark
Even though I’ve been there for years
Right behind you helping
Waiting for these times again
When you run to him
To have your heart be broken
And be with those that you don’t like
Unable to tell your self the truth
Of how you feel about him
And what you want from him
And I know I have to be strong
And stay hurting here in sadness
Waiting in the shadows
For my chance
waiting for him to hurt you
because you know
Because I know
without out fail
he will do it again
He will break your heart
And this is when
And only when
You’ll run to me…
