Breathe

Contributed by lostinmyself on Monday, 3rd July 2006 @ 09:39:33 AM in AEST
Topic: AngryPoetry

Breathe, be calm, breathe (scream) breathe

Feel the grief, the anger seethe,
Churn and boil through my soul,
Tumble inside with a jerky control.

Heart sucked into a hollow void,
Love and compassion, scorned and detroyed,
Fury appearing, rampant and free...

Breathe, be calm, breathe (scream) breathe

Cry out in fear that the madness won't leave.
Stuck in a whirl of emotions ablur,
Temper is left where feelings once were.

Rationality makes its retreat,
Harsh words hanging on its defeat,
And truth in tones that you fear to recieve...

Breathe, be calm, breathe (scream) breathe

Breathe once again, through quiet reprieve,
Calm the pain as anger subsides,
Wait for the tears to muffle the cries.

When choking sobs will silence the scream...
Leaving only regret, where anger had been,
And open my ears to emotional pleas...

Breathe, be calm, breathe (scream) breathe

Breathe, be calm, breathe (scream) breathe

Breathe, be calm, breathe (scream) breathe...

.......

Philly ... WOW!! It's like you climbed inside me and pulled these words
from my very own soul!! You captured tremendous emotion here, hun.
TREMENDOUS!

Your conflict within is evident and holy wow, can you ever aritculate that well!

I think this piece is absolutely stunning! Even though it may have come from
inner frustration, it was so exquisitely put together .

I love it very much!!
(and relate all too well..)

*hugs*
