I apologize now for what I have to do.
Please don't think that I hate you
Just that he never even gave me a choice
He never bothered to speak.
The thought of looking you in the face,
Seeing his cold eyes-
This I can not bear.
The thought of looking you in the face,
Knowing I can't give you the life you deserve-
This I can not bear.
Just please understand-
It's not you that harbors this hate....
I hate him for taking my choice
I hate him for forcing me to play God.
I can't even explain how I feel...
Empty...
Dead...
A part of me will die with you-
This I can not bear.
I hope you understand
And I hope one day you will forgive me.
Please understand that I loved you
And how I wished it was different-
That you had come to me in another time
When there was a choice made.
Please understand.

| my heart is breaking... if this poem is of truth, the sadness you feel and have given to us is overwhelming... if this poem is written from thought, then this is equally sad for those who have been lost... i have never been one to judge, and will not judge now... my heart goes out to you and to the little angel... |

| it is of truth, some have misunderstood the meaning, i was raped and well, couldn't deal with the results, thought i did the right thing until it was too late to change my mind, thank you, for your thoughts |
