Lonely Journey

Topic: dedicatedpoems

Where are you walking to?
Have you got far before you can sit down
and play your guitar?
The wind's all around you
The rain's in your eyes
but where was the sun when you said you're goodbyes?

Do you still dream or has everything changed
to a place where no memories of your life remain?
Can you still feel love?
Can you still see
the pain that is still here living in me?

Do your ears listen to what has been said
about how you died?
Is it true what we're fed?
Where you unhappy enough to let go
or was someone there?
Do you want us to know?

Where are you heading for?
Will it be good
for the pain in your body?
For the cuts in your blood?
The wind's still around you
The rain burns your trust
The moon's taken over the sun in disgust

Are your thoughts empty of when you believed
in the times you were happy enough to succeed?
Where are you walking to?
Leave me a clue
cos when it is my turn
I'll walk with you

Nice write. I too am a fan of Kurt Cobain. He was an outstanding poet/lyricist. Sad day when we lost him. Peace, Laura

Amazing poem i really loved it.
Your not the only one who was hurt to know that Kurt was gone, I'm one of his fans as well but Kurt still lives on by all of the people that remember him.
Kurt Cobain will always and forever be remembered and loved by us.
Hope to read more of your work

Best wishes always,
~*Eve*~
