I should have listened to the voice

Contributed by The_Unknown on Saturday, 1st July 2006 @ 01:53:45 AM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

I should have listened to
the voice that told me
always love
I should have listened
to the voice that said
always love,
never hate
if I had
I probably would see
life much brighter
see it half full
rather than empty
I should have listened
to the voice that told me
always love
I should have listened
to the voice that said
always love
never hate
because
hate will get you every time
I should have listened
to the voice that told me
always love
I should have listened
to the voice that said
always love
never hate
even when you want to fight
I wish I listened to the voice
that once told me
always love
never hate
hate will get you
every time
always love
never hate
even when you
want to fight
if only I listened to that voice...

I hear you .... your poem.... learning myself these days, new lessons... we all are learning how to put things into perspective....feelings can become confused... for me, hard to choose sides.. so, I just continue to love... am aware of the hate... people, I do not hate... not one... sin, yes... my own as well... oh well.. you get my drift... hang tight... each day is new.... rL
