I find anti-depressants rather depressing.

The withdrawl is awful because it feels the way you used to feel.
It's so hard to imagine that you used to feel like that every day of your life, isn't it?
Everything seems fine. You're balanced. Not enthralled, but most definately not depressed.
And then, BAM. You miss a dose.
At first, you think it's not comming. But oh, it will.
The withdrawl sinks in. Everything is blurred. You get irritable. Tired. Dizzy.
You have to be alone.
Not to sulk, not to cry.
To be solid. To be whole. It doesn't have to make sense.
All you know is that you have to get away when it hits you.
The pills make it so you have trouble sleeping.
But the withdrawl makes you deathly tired.
Almost ironic, but a little too factual. Or whatever that means.
So you sleep.
And you pray that you wake up balanced.
Doped up.
Whole.

How do I want to feel today? Now which one of these gazillion bottles has the right pilll to make me feel how I want to feel?

Having a decision like that to make first thing everyday would put me in the round room only to call for the doctor the next day to tell him I had found the corner in that round room. (Been there. Done that. Belive me it is no fun.)
Very good write. Keep it up. Thank you for ssharing this. wrdz

anti-depressants are one of the worst inventions in the history of mankind; they're just another drug to escape reality, i wish you luck in bringing yourself off these stupid drugs and finding your version of happiness in the future
