If my pillow could talk,
what would it say?
How many times has it been used as a muffler
for the threatening screams that escaped my soul?
How many tears have fallen upon it?
How many lies has it been told?
If my diary could talk,
oh boy, what a thought!
How many pages are filled with curses-
Curses towards the innocent?
Curses towards the guilty?
Curses towards myself?
If my heart could talk,
Would speak of woe?
Would it tell you how many times it's been broken?
How many peices have been left behind?
How many peices have not been repaired?
Oh, no, it would not!
It would speak of joy!
Speak of wonderous things-
Called love? Called Wonder?
Called girlish secerets that have never been uttered...
