I do not possess the ability to polish
To see in a way I once viewed this world
When we were younger yet somehow wiser
Somehow more honest
And I miss when we knew what we wanted
With less behind and all ahead
Daringly venturing, thinking we had less to lose
I know now that to be untrue
And now, This poem forgotten; I miss you
