I can hear your excuses,
Before they fall so limply from your lips.
I can smell your ignorance,
Before my knuckles are painted a searing white.
I can see your prejudice,
Before your nose touches the sky in arrogance.
I taste your so many lies,
Before your ears proclaim that you are victorious.
And I can feel how wrong you are,
Before my realization drops heatedly from my eyes.
