A sense of impending doom hangs over me
As I keep checking through my thoughts for the next escape
Could my demise be pure conjecture
Wishful thinking has left me high and dry
Too often I take leave of my senses
Inspired by my assembled demons
Tremors, paranoia and dark secrets
Too many bad turns to contemplate
Left, too much time on my own
Too many nights, not enough days
Breaking up on what I’ll never have
I am at odds with everything
With my own fair hands I have created this chaos
And now I am to find my own way out
It’s a self-fulfilling prophecy
When the blind are leading the blind
