The Absolute Hotel

Contributed by Franciswolf on Tuesday, 27th June 2006 @ 11:23:55 PM in AEST
Topic: DreamsandWishes

There comes a time on the tide of total destruction
It beckons you
And this time it collapses lightly
On everything you do
But the world’s of wisdom all assemble
They congregate and swarm
As the twists of evil collect themselves
To some degree at which they form
So good checks into dodge
And evil does it’s best to expel
While everyone made of infinity
Retreats to the Absolute Hotel

The Scotsman makes his mark
A loud with bloody weekends on the street
And all the riches of poorer men
Are strewed about his feet
He plays them pass his arrogance
And throws a few back at them
Then continues the path he’s chosen
To collect coins once again
He brings his moneybags heavy
But no one knows what it is that he will sell
But he has a suite at the bottom floor
Of the Absolute Hotel

The Golden Boy of the Circus
His monkeys follow him
They cheer and shriek their compliments
His ears close onto that hymn
Till all around that golden boy
Are apes and primates to scratch his back
A world full of peeled bananas
And a chimp’s fruitless attack
But he peels what’s left in short supply
And wonders why all his apes fell
Sitting at the tree outside
Looking into the Absolute Hotel

The salt collector starves at his brother’s gun
While he collects a numbing praise
He can’t make out the bandages
They’re tampered by the haze
His stomach is a weapon
His action, the weapon of choice
And speaking with a gun to his head
He still does beckon noise
And even his brother lowers the gun
He too is entranced by the spell
As his intellectual salt collector
Escapes onto the Absolute Hotel

The Nazi Beatle mania
Is sweeping through the land
He’s a gypsy and a toothpick
The ocean and the sand
Everything under the sun is his
All you need to do is ask
That is if you strip your soul
And wear a Jason mask
He would have drank the world clean
Had it really been his to shell
But he was the insect all along
In the cracks of the Absolute Hotel

The great white shark makes a journey
With a million tambourines
Haunting the patriotic seal
On a corruption of our dreams
And the Muppet inside shoots blank shells
At the warriors worth to despise
As he types away his poetry
And exposes hallow lies
You know he doesn’t sleep too much
The alarm is set at a 4 o clock bell
Don’t rent the room next to the Muppet Man
On the owl perch of the Absolute Hotel

We had forty or so held under the covers
But a rat made his way through
It was something always well hidden
But certainly nothing new
It was the ugliness at the throne
A monarch of putrid figure
The papers all would shout his name
The donkeys made him a cure
And although his nastiness resigned
His conscience never fell
And he still has booked a room
At the Absolute Hotel

The Doctor and the Preacher
The speaker and the knife
The answers of the common man
The common man’s sad life
All in one, one spoke for all
His preaches filled the screen
The weak watched on nervously
At the expulsion of a dream
But the dream it came but left so soon
Like the ones you always try to tell
It checked in with a “Do Not Disturb”
Within the walls of the Absolute Hotel

The Horse-loving loony-tune
He tapped wanderers on the shoulder
When everything was heated up
We could tell it was getting colder
All he ever wanted
Was to check in all along
But his now owns a ballroom
For all that is that’s wrong
And though he can be reached
Within the gates of hell
He still calls in the front desk
Ignored by the Absolute Hotel

The bard who conquered the world
His sunglasses cover his face
As we all try to overanalyze
His position and his place
He’s got a lot in common
With the uncommon he drops bombs
Written word exposed by the hand
It crushes, cools and calms
And he’s on the guest list
Although he’ll do his best to repel
The top floor with a balcony
Overlooking the whole Absolute Hotel

There comes a time on the tide of total destruction
It beckons you
And this time it collapses lightly
On everything you do
But the world’s of wisdom all assemble
They congregate and swarm
As the twists of evil collect themselves
To some degree at which they form
So good checks into dodge
And evil does it’s best to expel
While everyone made of infinity
Retreats to the Absolute Hotel
