A Summer so bright
So musical
So perfect
With an idealistic
Dream swirling
In the humidity

They walk together
Hand and hand
Down this alley of a street
But something stands silently between
Like a razor splitting a tie at the seam

A Distance of thousands of miles
A Distance of the widest sky
The Distance of time

Severing the bond
Between lovers
Brought together
For one simple summer

nice poem... it was simple yet had strong feeling to it.
