Please don't kiss me,
For having tasted the wine of your lips,
Would it not beg a million more visits?
Please don't slip your hand into mine,
Whilst it would bring warmth now,
Its absence would cause the deepest chill.
Please don't say that word,
But let me look deep into your eyes,
And see if your heart speaks the same.
Please don't wipe away my tears,
For the hurt that caused them,
Is yours to heal and thus dry every drop.
Please don't ever walk away,
For I want you here with me,
More than my very existence itself.
